the Clemenses
Lance & Julie Clemens serve with Greater Europe Mission in Sofia, Bulgaria.
They arrived in the field in February, 2007. They are focused on language acquisition and cultural
adaptation. Julie and Lance participated alone in a three-week language immersion in Vidin,
Bulgaria. Taylor is studying Bulgarian 7 hours a week and has been able to use it as a volunteer
at an orphanage in Trun. Lauren is fully immersed in a Bulgarian classroom and will quickly
surpass her parents' second language skills. During 2007, two Down-syndrome babies
were born to parents from their congregation. Because of this immediate need, Julie's disability
ministry within the local church started much earlier than planned. Praise the Lord for His
will and direction. Evangelistic English camps are planned for Summer, 2008.
