Elliott Anderson, Senior Pastor

Elliott Anderson has served the Lord in many different ministries over the last fifteen years, most with Judson University (Elgin).  His previous roles included counselor, resident director, teacher, coach and administrator, experiences which prepared him well for his role as pastor of Elgin Evangelical Free Church.  His primary passion is Jesus Christ and the love and care of God’s people.  A book authored by Pastor Elliott, Answers In Abundance, was recently published to excellent reviews.  Elliott and his wife, Angie, have four children and reside in Elgin.

Pastor Elliott's favorite verses include Proverbs 1:7, Psalms 27: 1, and Hebrews 12:11.

Mark Kato, Associate Pastor
Mark Kato was recently called by our congregation to serve as Associate Pastor to Youth and Families.  Mark is a native of Chicago.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Moody Bible Institute and has served as Youth pastor in schools and churches in Illinois, Wisconsin and Niger, West Africa.  His talents have also led him into worship music performance and serving in athletics coaching.  As part of his Youth leadership and pastoring to families, he oversees Christian Education at our church.  Mark and his wife, Cathy, live in Pingree Grove and have two children.

Warren Anderson, Worship Pastor
Pastor Warren Anderson oversees all of the non-sermon portions of the worship services.  In addition to his duties at EEFC, Warren serves as Dean of the Chapel and Lecturer in Communication Arts and Worship Arts at Judson University (Elgin).  He has a Masters Degree in English from Northwestern University and is currently involved in doctoral studies in worship at the Institute for Worship Studies.  He also writes a regular column and serves on the editorial board of Worship Leader magazine.  Warren and his wife, Lea, live in Elgin and have two children.

Pastor Warren's favorite scripture verses include 2 Samuel 6:21b, Psalm 46:1-3, and Matthew 6:34.
